Thomas Fogarty Winery and Vineyards is located at the Northern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. Located just West of Palo Alto and Stanford University, the estate vineyards sit at an elevation of two thousand feet with an extensive view of the Bay Area. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes benefit from this ideal long, cool growing season. Rich complex character is imparted to the wines produced in this unique, mountainous setting. Internationally recognized heart surgeon, Stanford professor and inventor Dr. Thomas A. Fogarty founded Thomas Fogarty Winery and Vineyards in 1981. Winemaker Michael Martella produces award-winning Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Monterey County Gewurztraminer.
